Farewell Besties

Farewell 2010 was amazing, The twelfthies were very emotional as, obviously, it was one of their last days in school, Here are some selected poems by twelfthies this year, who were on their poetic best!!

Penned by Meenal of Class XII on the occasion of Farewell

I don’t know where to begin with looking back at those 14 years of my life it is the
colorful, painted by so many artists altogether, who gave the painting a better color. I really don’t know but what I know is because of you all sitting in front of me – It came out to be a lit beautiful painting.
I would say, It was a small seed my parents, not so sure enough, sowed in this garden but each and every care you gardeners took assured them-their seed was rightly sown. From the beginning the manure I would say, of moral values were sown into me.
The school has taught me how to get up with each and every fall.
I got up everytime, with a new hope find now I am determined enough to face the world
with all its challenges.
In short, I would say, the school is the one which gave me both joy and sorrow
The place once I played & wept . The place where I made friends. The place where
I gained knowledge where I learned to live and let live.
How I am leaving today with so many memories to cherish ,
With constant remembrance of my teacher’s work.
With the constant help of what they taught .
I would enter a new world.

Just would to sum up by saying-- Surely for the mistake I have done and thank you for all
the love and warmth you have given to me .Thank you for all the teaching . Thank .
you for all the blessing. Thank you Thank you so much for giving me everything

Tips for Cracking Computer Science Examination with Flying Colors

The word ‘Difficult’ is found in the dictionary of fools. So students do not use and say computer science subject is very DIFFICULT you can do it and achieve good  result , just keep in mind few tips while preparing and attempting the question tips while preparing for computer science or any subject.
  • Do revision topic wise and   revise to use topics that you are confident at ,for  instance, revise SQL which is of 8 marks, revise Boolean algebra which is of 10 marks then do topic wise revision of C++ .This will help to boost up your confidence.
  • Write the answers because mistakes are made in spellings, commas etc  using technical words.
  • Draw the circuits with pencil.
  • Do not show the redundant groups.
  • Be careful with the variables. Take the same variables as given in the question.
  • While writing the canonical POS or SOP, be cautious with the direct and compliment state and write it carefully.

Networking
·         Be specific with words so that the difference between the similar terms comes out distinctly.
·         Learn the definitions.
 SQL
  • Select the command carefully.
  • Take the same attributes names as specified in the table
  • Do not add the word ‘AND ’with the attributes.
  • Use ‘AND’ and ‘OR ’with ‘where’ clause and not ‘&&’and ‘|| ’as used in C++.
·         Do not put commas with numeric values.

  C++
·         In the question related to “class” prefer to define the functions out side the class
·         In the questions related to inheritance identify the type of inheritance, the mode of accessibility & visibility and then attempt the question
·         In the numerical,  put the formula carefully(i.e. row major or column major )
·         In the stack or queue question, identify whether it is an array structure or a linked structure and item proceed.
  While attempting the paper
  • Attempt    the questions first which you    know well
  • Attempt the parts of the questions in sequence.
·         If you do not know leave a space and proceed and attempt it later .
·         Do not leave any question unattempted.
  •   So all is set --All the best for your preparations and exams and come out with flying colors.

Probability:
Question 1à  In a group there are three women & four men. Three persons are selected at random from this group. Find the probability that two women & one man or one woman & two men are selected.

Question 2à  A problem in mathematics is given to three students whose chances of solving it are ½,1/3 & ¼ respectively. What is probability that the problem will be solved?

Question 3 à A speaks truth in 60% of the cases & B in 70% of the cases. In what percentage of cases they are likely to
(i)                 Contradict each other
(ii)               Agree with each other, in stating the same fact?

Question 4à  A man is known to speak truth three out of four times. He throws a dice & reports that it is six. Find the probability that it is actually a six.

Question 5à In a hurdle race, a player has to cross 8 hurdles. The probability that he will clear each hurdle is 4/5. What is the probability that he will knock down fewer than 2 hurdles?

3D GEOM:
Question 6 à  Show that the lines vect. (r) = - î -3Ĵ-5 unitvect.(k) + λ (3î +5Ĵ+7 unit vect.(k)) And
                    Vect.(r) = (2 î +4Ĵ +6 unitvect.(k)) + u (î + 3Ĵ + 5 unit vect.(k)) intersect each other.
Question 7 à  Find the equation of the plane passing through the point (-1, -1, 2) and perpendicular to the planes x+ 2y- 3z=1 and 5x- 4y+ 3z=5

Question 8 à Find the foot of the perpendiculars from the point (0, 2,7) on the line

Question 9 à If the points (1,2,p) and(-3, 0,-1) be equidistant from the plane
 vect. (r) .(3 î +4Ĵ - 12unitvect.(k)) + 17 = 0, then find the value of ‘P’.

Question 10 à  Find the angle between the line
and the plane 2x +y- 3z =4

VECTORS
Question 11 à If vect.(a) is any vector prove that
      vect.(a)= (vect.(a).vect.(i)) î +  (vect.(a).vect.(j)) Ĵ + (vect.(a).vect.(k)) unit Vect. (k).
Question 12 à If vectors vect.(a) , Vect.(b), Vect.(c) are such that each is perpendicular to sum of the other two and I vect(a) I = 6, I vect(b) I = 8, and I vect(c) I =10, find I vect(a) + vect(b)ı+ vect(c) I .
Question 13 -à  If vect. (α)=3î-Ĵ and vect.(β)= 2î+Ĵ-5 unit vect.(k), express vect.(β) as a sum of vectors vect.(β1) and vect. (β2), where vect. (β1) ıı vect.(α) and vect.(β2)ııα.
Question 14à vect.(a), vect.(b), Vect.(c) are unit vectors.
Suppose vect. (a) . vect.(b)= Vect (c). vect (a)=0 and angle between vect.(b) and Vect ()c) is π/3, prove that vect.(a)=±(2/√3 ) (vect(b) x Vect (c).
Question 15 à If vect (a) x Vect. (b) = Vect (c) x vect (a) ‡ vect (0), show that vect (b) + Vect (c) = t vect (a) for some scalar t.
